Last May 1, 2006, select elders of OBCC conducted a strategic planning workshop at the Resurreccion residence.  Their output is as follows.

Step 1: Context

OBCC has 60 regular adult attenders at the moment, of which 30 are active, buhay at gising.


Question: “How to increase the number of active, passionate, “zealous for Christ” members of OBCC by April 30, 2007?


Step 2: Victory Circle

By April 30, 2007,


We see:

  • Faces of new members

  • Active, zealous, passionate members

  • Successful members

    • Some are in business

    • Some help OBCC financially

  • High tech worship service: LCD, powerpoint, new sound system

  • New additional Pastor

  • Bigger, more orderly building


We feel:

  • Successful, excited, happy, fulfilled


We say:

  • “Congratulations. I am blessed. I feel challenged.”

  • “I feel grateful” (Cris).

  • “Puede bang umatend?” (new)

  • “Balik na tayo” (Anji)

  • “I am proud of you” (K Rene)


Step 3: Current Reality

Strengths

Step 4: Commitments

  1. Dennis Manas – Itatalaga ko ang aking sarili na mag-aaral pa ukol sa makabagong pamamaraan ng pangunguna sa music ministry. Maghihimok sa mga bagong manggagawa na wag matakot magpastor

  2. Dong Alcayde – Maging mainit sa evangelism, puspusan sa prayer

  3. P Rene Tuazon – To do my duties and responsibilities as a pastor and to support the vision of the church in any way possible

  4. Chris Sabarez – I will become more active and more visible to the church and school activities

  5. Ferdie G – Ipagdarasal ko ito habang tumutulong ako

  6. JR Maximo – Give more time for church activities to achieve our goals and objectives
